Once upon a time, there were two animals. The tiger, Regit, was known for being manipulative. And the dragon, Nrocniou, was new to the village. The tiger wanted to earn more money for his job, which was selling houses by using tricks, but he was already famous for swindling. Nobody fell for his tricks. However, he was still looking for new prey.
A week later, Regit had become too poor to eat because he had not found any animals to deceive. But at this time, he heard that there were new animals arriving in his village and looking for a new house to live in. A few days later, the new animals, including Nrocniou, came to Regit to find a new house.
At Regit’s house, he showed some houses to Nrocniou: of them was very pretty and looked cozy. It was expensive but Nrocniou didn’t have time to look around the house, so she just decided to buy and live in that house. Meanwhile, Regit could barely contain his excitement. He had sold Nrocniou a house located on the water for a very high price even though he knew that she was not able to live on water. Regit was confident he could get away with his deceit.
After Regit left, Nrocniou was talking with her clever neighbors. Babble babble, she heard the sounds of water and peculiarly, all of her neighbors were water animals, so she asked one of her neighbors where the house she bought was located, and he answered that the house she bought is on the water. Nrocniou was so angered, so she immediately planned to run to Regit’s office but suddenly, she came up with smart ways to trick Regit.
‘Stupid tiger, you shouldn’t lie to me. It’s going to be funny to see Regit’s face,’ she thought to herself.
Regit,, unaware of what was about to happen to him, hung out with his friends and gossiped about Nrocniou.
“I sold a house on the water to the dragon but she didn’t even doubt me, isn’t it so funny?” Regit said.
“But it could be a trap!” his friends warned him. “You should think about that.”
His friends suggested he should worry about it, but Regit didn’t even listen to what they said.
The next day, Nrocniou visited Regit’s office. Knock knock.
“Hi Regit, thank you for selling me this wonderful house!” said Noccar.
Regit was feeling weird but focused on listening for the time being.
“It’s good that you like it.” said Regit.
Nrocniou suddenly whispered, “Hey Regit, so I have something to tell you. It’s secret information only for you. I heard that 10 km from this village, there is a place where valuable treasure is hidden. Here is the map. I hope you find the treasure.”
Regit thought that Noccar might be tricking him, but he wanted the treasure, so he decided to go and find it.
However, the place where the treasure was hidden was in the scorching desert. Regit didn’t bring any water, so he was almost dying.
‘What’s happened? I hate that dragon. I shouldn’t have believed what that bad dragon said. Please, I need help. I want water!’
But, suddenly, Regit saw Nrocniou holding water in front of him.
“What the hell is this? You already knew that treasure was in the desert, you knew before!!” Said Regit.
Nrocniou smirked at Regit.
“Hey Regit, you made this happen. It’s your fault. Did you think that I actually didn’t know that the house you sold was on the water?” “This water is mine. Goodbye Regit.” Said Noccar and 10 minutes later, Regit was dead because of dehydration.
From this story, people can notice that if someone is greedy and tries to trick somebody, they will end up unhappy. They will get back what they did before.
